Three From Bridgeport Face Drug Charges In Milford

Richard Smith, 31, was arrested Monday, July 9  on three warrants for drug sales in August 2017 following an investigation by the Milford Police Department's Tactical Unit, as well as the Bridgeport DEA Office, the department said.

The investigation found that Smith was selling narcotics within Milford and surrounding towns, police said.

He was charged with three counts sale of narcotics, conspiracy to sell narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell. 

The second arrests occurred on Tuesday, July 10 when officers with the Tactical Unit were conducting an anti-crime patrol and made a vehicle stop on Schoolhouse Road and I-95.

During the stop, officers had probable cause to search the vehicle and found cocaine and packaging materials, the department said.

Arrested included Kemuel Jimenez-Rivera, 36, and Eric Traylor, 33. 

Jimenez-Rivera was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have vehicle insurance and two counts of failure to appear (warrants).

He is being held on $2,000 bond.

Traylor was charged with possession of narcotics, possession drug paraphernalia and failure to respond (warrants). He is being held on $1,242 bond.
